Diabetes Awareness Training Courses Overview

This course will show the everyday challenges that people with diabetes face and the staff who aid these people. By the end of the course, delegates will be able to carry out the preventative and reactive actions which can be made to make care agencies more effective.

• The different types of diabetes.
• Identifying the comorbidities linked to diabetes.
• Identifying warning signs and symptoms of hypo and hyperglycaemia.
• How to manage hypo and hyperglycaemic attacks.
• Preventative measures.

How is this course delivered?

This course can be delivered in-house at your location for classes of up to 12 delegates. We offer rigorous training with hands-on elements, designed to instil lasting knowledge into your carers.
